SINOTRUK’s Philippine Plant Rolls Out Its First Vehicle

On September 5, a ceremony was held in Tarlac to mark the rollout of the first vehicle from SINOTRUK’s Philippine assembly plant. As a brand-new SINOTRUK truck drove out of the factory gates, it symbolized the company’s strong manufacturing capabilities and technological excellence.

Teams from both China and the Philippines jointly witnessed this historic moment. The successful production of the first vehicle represents the culmination of close collaboration, technical innovation, and shared commitment between SINOTRUK and its Philippine partners in the automotive manufacturing sector.

Guided by the principle of “taking root locally and serving the market,” the Philippine KD (Knock-Down) project team overcame numerous challenges to establish the assembly plant. Through precise coordination of domestic and international resources, strict quality control, and close cooperation with local dealers, SINOTRUK successfully achieved local assembly of chassis and local production of cargo boxes. This milestone provides dealers with more flexible supply chain options and significantly shortens vehicle delivery times.

The launch of the Philippine plant marks a major step forward in SINOTRUK’s localization and internationalization strategy. It greatly enhances the company’s responsiveness and delivery capabilities in the Philippine market and serves as an important foundation for expanding localized production throughout Southeast Asia.
